POSITION: Operations & Executive Associate
LOCATION: Washington, DC
American Bridge 21st Century PAC, a progressive research and communications organization dedicated to holding Republicans accountable for their words and actions, is hiring a full-time Operations & Executive Associate to join our Operations team. This position is based in our Washington, DC office four days per week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Primary responsibilities include:

Own and manage office and front desk operations, exercising independent judgment to set priorities, establish procedures, identify operational gaps, and implement solutions that ensure a professional, efficient workplace.

Oversee external communications systems, including shared email and voicemail accounts, using discretion to evaluate urgency, substance, and risk; determine appropriate responses or escalation; and recommend improvements to communication workflows.

Independently manage and continuously improve shared inbox and CRM processes, including prioritizing inquiries, drafting substantive responses, routing issues strategically, and evaluating tracking and follow-up systems to support organizational relationship management.

Evaluate, manage, and make recommendations regarding organizational resources, including subscriptions, software licenses, and news services, with responsibility for assessing effectiveness, cost efficiency, and alignment with organizational needs.

Strategically manage team scheduling, balancing competing priorities, anticipating conflicts, and recommending scheduling norms or systems that improve leadership effectiveness and decision-making.

Prepare, synthesize, and interpret materials for Operations and Management teams, including agendas, briefings, and analytical summaries, exercising judgment about relevance, framing, and presentation.

Own operational support processes related to reimbursements, corporate card activity, and timekeeping metrics, including reviewing for accuracy and compliance, identifying recurring issues, and designing or recommending process improvements in coordination with management.

Partner with the Operations team to assess and manage vendor and partner access to organizational systems and resources, identifying risks, recommending controls, and supporting compliance improvements.

Lead and contribute to special projects and operational initiatives for senior leadership, applying independent judgment, problem-solving, and discretion to improve systems, policies, and organizational effectiveness beyond routine administrative work.
Skills and qualifications required:

2–3 years of experience in operations, office management, administrative or executive support, or scheduling roles with demonstrated ownership of processes and decision-making authority; political or nonprofit experience preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to evaluate information, exercise discretion, and communicate appropriately with internal and external stakeholders.

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of independently managing priorities and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated professionalism and discretion, with experience handling sensitive or confidential information.

Collaborative and solution-oriented, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and supporting team needs.

Proficiency with Google Workspace and related tools, with the ability to evaluate and improve systems and workflows.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position ($66,000 - $76,000) and a strong benefits package.
